Spotlight: Raza Kazim

Etihas (Educational Technology for Indian History, Arts and Society) presents a new series of interviews.

Raza Kazim is a senior scholar of music and practicing advocate from Lahore. In this series of video interviews he talks about his long journey through the music and arts of South Asia.

Further parts of this interview to be available soon on etihas. The interview conducted by Yousuf Saeed in May 2005. This series edited by Mohan Siddharth. Parts of this interview are featured in the documentary film Khayal Darpan.

Educational Technology for Indian History, Arts and Society (etihas)


E-tihas (or etihas) is a digital platform for documentation and dissemination of history, heritage, and cultural legacy of India and South Asia through audio visual and film media. E-tihas stresses on authenticity of information, diversity of viewpoints, and an unbiased research and analysis of history and cultural heritage. The E-tihas archive comprises of the audio and video materials not only researched and documented especially for this platform, but also materials contributed by other researchers, producers and enthusiasts of history and culture.
This website is meant for use by students, researchers and anyone with a passion to learn more about history, culture and arts.
